Crowns

About Dental Crowns

A crown is a prosthetic tooth that is used to cover or cap a damaged or missing tooth. If the tooth is damaged, a crown can strengthen the existing tooth, improving the shape, alignment, and appearance of the tooth. One of the more common uses of a crown is to top a dental implant. The crown acts as the permanent tooth that will go on top of the titanium implant, providing you with a realistic looking and feeling tooth.

Bridges

About Dental Bridges

In cases of severe damage or missing teeth due to accidental damage, a dental bridge may be the solution. Dental bridges can involve the use of bonding, implants or, in certain cases, crowns to repair and restore your smile. A properly formed and fitted dental bridge can last for a decade or more and can correct any jaw or facial misalignment associated with missing or damaged teeth.

A dental bridge bridges empty spaces caused by missing teeth. Bridges are custom-fit to match the size, shape, and color of existing teeth and look completely natural. Unlike dentures, a dental bridge is permanent.

Partials

About Dental Partials

Partial dentures, also called partials, are artificial replacement teeth that restore a few missing teeth in a patient’s mouth. The surrounding tissues in the oral cavity support dentures.

Partials replace a few missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Full dentures, on the other hand, replace an entire set of teeth.

Dentures

About Dentures

Complete dentures replace all of a patient’s teeth. They sit on top of the gums, as opposed to dental bridges that are anchored to existing teeth. Complete dentures are typically placed within 8-12 weeks after the teeth have been removed/extracted.

Denture Implants Can Stabilize Your Denture

Denture patients often find conventional dentures uncomfortable or ill-fitting. Because of this, using dental implants to retain, or support, your denture is becoming popular with patients. Denture implants are a versatile, long-term solution that helps reduce the slipping of a denture and can greatly improve a patient’s ability to eat and speak naturally.

What Exactly is a Denture Implant?

It’s a type of denture that is supported by, and attached to, dental implants versus a regular denture that rests on the gums. With an implant supported denture, the denture “snaps in” to securely fasten to your jaw. The denture can be removed by a patient or doctor for cleaning and care.

Benefits of Denture Implants

  • Improved confidenceStability while speaking
  • Bone and gum preservation
  • Improved dental hygiene
  • Improve esthetics
  • Nutritional benefits from being able to eat

Implants

About Implants

Tooth loss can occur from a variety of causes: gum disease, decay, trauma, and many others. Dental implants are the most natural way to replace missing teeth. They are designed to be a foundation for replacement teeth that provides the full functionality of confident eating, normal speech and a beautiful smile.

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically positioned in the jawbone to act as tooth root substitutes. Titanium is a very special metal that actually bonds with bone! Implants not only anchor teeth but also help to preserve the bone in the jaw and face that normally deteriorates with tooth loss.

All-On-Four Implants

A reason to smile again: Full mouth dental implants

Can just four implants replace all of the teeth on the top or the bottom of your mouth? Thanks to advances in dental implant technology, that answer is a resounding yes.

Believe it or not, tooth loss is extremely common among adults, especially as we age. In fact, more than 35 million people in America are missing all of their upper and/or lower teeth. Rather than living with the discomfort and hassles of dentures, many people are opting for what is called full mouth dental implant restoration.

Braces

About Braces

Braces are metal brackets that are fixed to the front surface of the teeth. A wire is threaded through each bracket and tightened at various intervals throughout the treatment. By manipulating the wire, your orthodontist is able to place pressure on different areas of the bite to gradually bring the teeth into the proper position.

Braces work in two stages: first, the tooth is moved, and then its root moves along to catch up. The total treatment time for traditional braces depends on the complexity of the case -- most patients are finished with braces between 18 and 24 months.
